Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club, USA Specialty Dog Show and Puppy Sweeps December 7-9 2012
I have booked my airfare and hotel and am excited to be going to New Orleans for the CKCSC, USA Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Point Show and Puppy Sweepstakes.
It seems like every couple of days I am reminded again of why I fell in love with this wonderful cavalier king charles spaniel breed. For example, this past weekend I had a "girls weekend" at my beach home at Ocean Isle Beach, NC. I couldn't take all of my cavaliers with me, but my cavalier Satin injured her leg in a horse accident so I decided to bring her along. My friends were so suprised at her love and devotion for me. She stayed by my side the entire weekend. She followed me with her eyes if she someone else was holding her. Satin was friendly toward others, but she knew who her mama was.
When Satin is with, she is completely happy. I realized that the saying is true that a dog is the only animal that will love you more than it loves itself. The neat thing is that all of my cavalier king charles spaniels are like that. My tricolor bitch is in heaven when she is snuggled up beside me. This breed is like no other I have ever had or been around. Because of their nature, they really are like chocolates, it is so hard to have just one! They really have enriched my life and I am so grateful everyday. (Picture of Satin resting beside Sammy my 85 lb old Boxer)
hahaha...Just add two boys and this would be our bed (full of cavalier king charles spaniels of course)!
Mon, Nov 5, 2012 Afternoon relaxing at the beach with my cavalier spaniel and boys.
Fall is so beautiful here at the beach of Sunset, NC. My boys are playing in the sand, and I've had a chance to run my dogs. Boy do they love it out here! It is so lovely and serene. Great afternoon!
Afternoon with Satin our lovely female Blenheim cavalier king charles spaniel at Sunset Beach, NC
I took Satin out for a run on Sunset Beach, NC. Sunset beach is located on the South East Coast of North Carolina and only 30 minutes away from North Myrtle Beach, SC. This lovely little cavalier spaniel loved playing in the sand and the water!
My name is Heather Borton. I am a wife and mother of three wonderful children. I live in Sunset Beach, North Carolina. Sunset Beach is conveniently located within driving distance between Wilmington, NC and Myrtle Beach, SC. I work part time in management for a family owned golf course right down the road from home. One of the great joys of my life is being owned by my Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
