So pleased to announce that today "Robbie" BIS MBISS GCHB Bentwood Forestcreek Rob Red won Reserve Winners Dog under esteemed cavalier king charles spaniel breeder judge Bryan Claydon at the Club show in Oakland, CA making him a new CKCSC-USA Champion!!!! Huge thanks to breeders/coowners Ginger Harrison and Dr. Kevin Cline. There is no one else I could imagine partnering with. You both are the best. Congrats to all of the winners as well!! Thanks to my husband Michael Borton for supporting me and taking care of the house, dogs and family while I pursue these adventures 😊
Mother's Day Cavalier Puppies Born 5/14/17 (all spoken for) Robbie x Flirt puppies  Started last weekend with a bang! This was my second time out with Bentwood Forestcreek Rob Red and I am thrilled to say that we won our first 3 point major Friday morning in Atlanta, GA at the Sawnee Mountain Kennel Club of Georgia AKC Dog Show. This took place over the same weekend as the Atlanta Cavalier King Charles Specialty Show. Thanks to Judge Ms. Nikki Riggsbee for this award. Huge thanks to breeders/co-owners Kevin Cline and Ginger Harrison.  The light fades with the sunset, but the memories wont. My Cavalier King Charles Spaniels certainly live up to that reputation and are excellent snuggle bugs. Cavalier King Charles Spaniels do sleep away a good bit of the day - a fact one shouldn’t be either surprised or concerned about.  Home sweet home here in Sunset Beach, NC. Sweet Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy love....10/1/2015  New young hopeful here at Livelyoak cavaliers.  Great time at the Chesapeake Bay CKCS Club Fun Match! Today was my six year old son Josiah's first time showing...He got a lot of practice thanks to friends and willing pups :) It was a lot of fun and thanks to the club for hosting the event. Bentwood Distinction "Lincoln" was also Best Puppy in Fun Match. That was nice too! :)  Some people wonder if cavaliers are a good fit with children? It is always important to monitor children and cavaliers, but I think they make excellent pets for children. Cavalier king Charles Spaniels are sweet tempered, playful, and very yet gentle.  |
